Biography

As an internet entrepreneur, Carine Moitier likes to share her expertise and advise with people and companies who consider e-commerce to be the crucial factor for successful future businesses.

Carineshifted from traditional Fast Moving Consumer Goods Marketing (Nivea,Tropicana) into the Internet hype end nineties as Bivolino.com‘s Co-Founder. Survivor of the 2000 crash, she actually intensively runs thise-custom shirt ‘adventure’ as COO having won several national and international awards. As an innovator, challenger and early adaptor, she was able to reinvent Marketing being convinced that the ‘Prosumer’ will first socialize and then buy. Passionate about lifestyle and fashion, Carine is convinced that all senses (flavor, taste, …) could be expressed within virtualshops without abandoning the real world experience.

Carine holds an university MBA 1987, is Board Member of Thuiswinkel.org & Becommerce.be as well as expert for the European Commission DG Research. Cmoitier.com offers e-commerce expertise to the market as a consultant, speakerteacher and advisor.


Research information

The overall objective of Open Garments is the Manufacturing Service Provider (MSP) Business Model enabling individual garments. This business model will enable a new form of design, production and sales of consumer designed and configured garments, based on the provision of individualised services and products to customers and partners. This will lead to new product designs, to a much more customer satisfaction, and to an improvement of the stability and competitiveness of SMEs.
